THE TOUR:
The 1669 earthquake destroyed the city of Noto (and other 60 villages
in the south-east Sicily): it was a real disaster. The Spanish government decided to
re-build the new city in another site, 7 km far from the ancient one.
We’ll discover the multi-millenary history of Noto and its new aspect, in a
spectacular and rich Baroque style.
